Meet PhorMe

Who founded PhorMe?

PhorMe was created by Angie Marcus, a mother, woman of color, and advocate for clean living. After dealing with irritation, sensitivity, and discomfort from traditional deodorants, she set out to create a formula that felt more thoughtful, more supportive, and easier to trust.

What started as something Angie needed for herself became PhorMe: a pH-balanced, fragrance-free deodorant made with 10 simple ingredients and designed for sensitive, changing skin. While PhorMe is especially resonating with women navigating hormonal shifts and skin sensitivity, any person looking for a gentler approach to odor protection is welcome here.

What makes PhorMe different from other deodorants?

Most deodorants either cover odor with heavy fragrance or rely on ingredients that can feel harsh on sensitive skin. PhorMe takes a gentler approach. Our pH-balanced formula helps neutralize odor without blocking sweat, using 10 simple ingredients chosen with intention.

No aluminum. No baking soda. No synthetic fragrance. Just thoughtful odor protection designed to work with your body, not against it — especially if your skin has become more reactive or sensitive over time.

Your Questions, Answered (About Our Deodorant)

How do I use the Deodorant Stick?

Start by applying  2–3 swipes to clean, dry skin. Our Stick glides on clear and smooth — no heavy residue. Reapply as needed, especially during the adjustment period if you’re new to aluminum-free deodorant.

How do I use the Whole Body Deodorant Crème?

Squeeze a small amount onto your fingertip and apply anywhere you need freshness — underarms, thighs, chest, feet, or anywhere you sweat. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, perfect for home or travel.

What are the ingredients in PhorMe deodorant?

Every PhorMe formula includes just 10 purposeful ingredients — nothing more, nothing less. Aloe Vera to soothe, Arrowroot to absorb, Bamboo to purify, Horsetail to strengthen, and Sage to deodorize — plus a few safe, gentle essentials that make it glide and stay fresh. See our full ingredient list here.

What is the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant?

Deodorant helps control odor. Antiperspirant is designed to reduce or block sweat. PhorMe is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It helps neutralize odor while allowing your skin to function naturally, because sweat is part of your body’s normal process.

Is there a difference between deodorants for different genders?

Sweat itself is not gendered, but personal preference can be. PhorMe is fragrance-free, pH-balanced, and designed for anyone looking for a gentler approach to odor protection, especially those with sensitive or changing skin.

Does PhorMe test their products on animals?

Never. PhorMe is 100% cruelty-free — always tested on people, never on animals.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

PhorMe is made without aluminum, baking soda, or synthetic fragrance and is designed to be a gentler option for sensitive skin. Because every pregnancy is different, we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you have specific questions about any personal care product.

Are your products safe for kids and teens?

PhorMe was designed as a gentler, fragrance-free deodorant for people looking for a more thoughtful approach to everyday body care. If you’re considering it for a child or teen, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and checking with your healthcare provider if you have concerns about sensitivity or age-appropriate use.

Will I still sweat when using PhorMe?

Yes — and that’s a good thing! Sweating helps your body regulate temperature and detox naturally. PhorMe neutralizes odor without stopping sweat, keeping you feeling clean and confident. If you’re switching from a traditional antiperspirant, you may notice a short adjustment period at first, and that’s completely normal.

How often should I reapply?

That depends on your body, your routine, and where you are in your transition to aluminum-free deodorant. Some people are good with one application, while others prefer to reapply during the day, especially in the first few weeks.

Our Packaging Promise

Is the packaging recyclable?

Yes. Our packaging is made with 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic, which can be recycled again through most curbside programs.

What is the packaging made of?

Both our Stick and Crème tubes are crafted from durable, 100% PCR plastic — giving new life to existing materials and reducing waste.

Why does PhorMe use PCR plastic instead of glass or metal?

We chose PCR plastic because it’s lightweight, shatter-proof, travel-friendly, and better for reducing carbon emissions during shipping. It’s sustainable and practical — a win-win.
